Our first ever overseas trip was a great success with our team (OC, Dave F, Head of Trout, Paddy, The President and the Skipper) doing the Racqueteers proud by coming 3rd overall in the quick-fire, inaugural competition of 5 overs per innings.
We played 6 matches over the long weekend wining 4 & losing 2 – only losing to the eventual winners, the powerful Nepalese and the runners up, Knutsford from Cheshire.
We played with great tenacity and as tight-knit and well organised team in an extraordinary setting, just outside Granada, with the impressive backdrop of the Sierra Nevada mountains.
